Diego Merino

Diego Merino was born in Madrid, where he graduated in Film Studies. Whilst working on films and TV commercials as a Camera Assistant, he became fascinated by photography and began to assist leading Spanish photographers. In early 1998 he moved to New York City, where he started working alongside renowned fashion photographer Tom Munro as his first assistant for three years. After that time, Diego started his own independent career. Almost seven years later, Diego moved from New York to London where he started to build a client list that includes today clients such as: Daks, Hackett, Cerruti 1881, Austin Reed, Harrods, Es Magazine, Port Magazine, Collezioni Uomo and GQ among others. Diego Merino currently lives between London and Barcelona.
